Admission

Admission Process

VDF School’s admission procedure is as per the rules and regulations prescribed by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State and DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State). The applicants will have to abide by the rules and decisions taken by DTE from time to time.

Tuition Fees

The Tuition Fees payable will be as per the decisions of the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA). The fees can be revised on receipt of the guidelines given by the Supreme Court/High Court of India and/or the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA).

Selection Procedure

Admission is strictly on the basis of inter se merit and as per procedures laid out in the Information Brochure MHT-CET issued by CET Cell, Maharashtra State and Directorate of Technical Education. The applicants should refer to the D.T.E. website (www.dte.org.in) for obtaining detailed information about these procedures, rules and regulations.

After all the seats are filled up and/or the admission process is over, no claim for admissions shall be entertained on any ground whatsoever. The last date of admissions declared by the Office of D.T.E. shall be strictly observed.

Application forms can be obtained at the institute’s office against a payment of Rs. 500/- in cash/DD/Pay Order of any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “ VDF SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, Payable at LATUR ”

The candidates themselves have to be present at the counseling session for allocation of seats. They will then have to submit all original certificates/documents along with the prescribed fees. Failure of submission of original certificates and/or payment of fees, as mentioned above, within the specified period shall lead to cancellation of admission.
On confirmation of admission after payment of fees, the candidate will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of Discipline and Conduct of the Institution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, (DBATU) Lonere, Raigad, currently in force and as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time.
Every student and his/her parent/guardian has to sign an undertaking before he/she is actually admitted to the college. This undertaking covers different behavioral and disciplinary facets.

Further clarification in these matters may be obtained from the institute’s office. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Rules, if the state government takes any policy decision pertaining to FY admission, then the same shall be brought into effect at that point in time as per the directives from the government from time to time. If the final fee approved by the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA) is less than the interim fees collected, the difference will be refunded within a period of four weeks. Every admitted student has to give an undertaking that if the final fee approved is more than the collected fee, the students will pay the additional fee as per the rules.

Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.

(A) First Year –

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates

(2) All India Candidature Candidates

(3) NRI/ OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National

(A) Candidature Type

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature. –

A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type i.e. from Type A to E.

(2) All India Candidature. -

The Candidates having Indian Nationality are eligible under this Category.

(3) Minority Candidature –

The Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.

Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National –

These types of Candidature Candidates are exempted from appearing for MHT-CET. Note:-
