Admission Process
VDF School’s admission procedure is as per the rules and regulations prescribed by State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State and DTE (Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State). The applicants will have to abide by the rules and decisions taken by DTE from time to time.

Selection Procedure
Admission is strictly on the basis of inter se merit and as per procedures laid out in the Information Brochure MHT-CET issued by CET Cell, Maharashtra State and Directorate of Technical Education. The applicants should refer to the D.T.E. website (www.dte.org.in) for obtaining detailed information about these procedures, rules and regulations.
Application forms can be obtained at the institute’s office against a payment of Rs. 500/- in cash/DD/Pay Order of any Nationalized/Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “ VDF SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, Payable at LATUR ”
The candidates themselves have to be present at the counseling session for allocation of seats. They will then have to submit all original certificates/documents along with the prescribed fees. Failure of submission of original certificates and/or payment of fees, as mentioned above, within the specified period shall lead to cancellation of admission.
On confirmation of admission after payment of fees, the candidate will be governed by the Rules and Regulations of Discipline and Conduct of the Institution, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, (DBATU) Lonere, Raigad, currently in force and as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time.
Every student and his/her parent/guardian has to sign an undertaking before he/she is actually admitted to the college. This undertaking covers different behavioral and disciplinary facets.
Documents to be Submitted for Pharmacy Streams (First Year Admission):
- Statement of Marks for SSC or equivalent examination.
- Statement of Marks at the qualifying examination HSC or equivalent (Original + 04 photocopies).
- Provisional Statement of Eligibility by candidates (who have passed HSC from a Board other than the Maharashtra Board).
- School/College Leaving Certificate/Bonafide Certificate from the previous institution.
- MHT-CET Score Card/ NEET Score Card (03 Copies).
- Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
- Copy of admission slip/allotment letter.
- Latest photographs (White background passport Size) - 05 Nos.
- In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, Caste Certificate and Caste Validity Certificate from the competent authority.
- For NT1,NT2 and OBC/SEBC candidates Caste Certificate, non-creamy layer and Caste Validity Certificate.
Documents to be Submitted for Pharmacy Streams ( Direct Second Year Admission) :
- Statement of Marks for SSC or equivalent examination.
- Statement of Marks at the qualifying examination (D.Pharm) for each attempt in Final Year/Semesters.
- Provisional Statement of Eligibility by candidates (who have passed Diploma in Pharmacy from a Board other than the MSBTE).
- School/College Leaving Certificate after passing Diploma. /Bonafide Certificate from the previous institution.
- Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate.
- Copy of admission slip/allotment letter.
- Latest photographs (White Background passport size) - 05 Nos.
- In case of candidates belonging to SC/ST, Caste Certificate and Caste Validity Certificate from the competent authority.
- For NT1,NT2 and OBC/SEBC candidates Caste Certificate, non-creamy layer and Caste Validity Certificate.
Eligibility Criteria
Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.
(A) First Year –
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates
- The candidate should be an Indian National;
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
- should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
(2) All India Candidature Candidates
- The candidate should be an Indian National;
- Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;
- should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.
(3) NRI/ OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National
- The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;
- Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
(A) Candidature Type
(1) Maharashtra State Candidature. –
A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type i.e. from Type A to E. For more details visit CET cell website.
(2) All India Candidature. -
(3) Minority Candidature –
Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National –
- It is mandatory to appear for MHT-CET for candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature All India Candidature seeking admission to B. Pharm. / Pharm. D. However, All India Candidature candidates may or may not appear for MHT-CET as Score of NEET shall be preferred over MHT-CET for admission to B.Pharm.
